Challenge # 22

Happy Sunday !!
If you didn't know IDIC has changed the Challenge date to Sunday (which I personally love). There are also a few new changes. 1st off some really cool new releases in the IDIC Store.
Including Thanksgiving
2nd off we have some band new DT members.
Let's give this ladies a hand (your work is great) Stop by their blogs and welcome them aboard

Now on to my card for this I Did It Creations Challenge. I had fun with this Challenge I made a Birthday Card and for the 1st time decided to use the digi stamp on the inside of the card.

Sponsor: Trees Award in Digital Stamps
Theme: Keep in Simple
Stamp used:
Cupcake Prize: You can win a $5.00 coupon to the sponsor's store
Challenge Dates:9/19/10 - 9/26/10

(Yes this picture was taken at the dinner table, I luv that it adds a different element to the pic)

(close up of stamp)

Details: I used Copic Markers to color the stamp(you can't see the sparkle in the pic). Since my friend was turning 25 I wrote it a few places on the cake with a colored pencil. On the front of the card I use a butterfly transparent paper and some rhinestones. A nice simple card.

Now go check out the cards by the other DT members at the IDIC Challenge Blog.Today on the blog half of the DT projects will be posted and on the Wednesday the other half will be posted. So this is going to be a fun week.

Thanks for stopping by have a Scrap Happy Day and dont forget

  1. What a beautiful card Nicole, I love all the butterflies and the 25's on the cupcake are such a fab idea...hugs Shelly x

  2. Thank you so much for choosing the image, it seems an age since I have been able to comment on people's blogs and just look what I have missed, your adorable little girlie! You have really done justice to the Cupcake image and have made a truly lovely card. Talk about rubbing it in with that notable date! Hahaha! I hope you will allow me to put it in my gallery? I like that the front of the card has the acetate so the butterflies are suspended as they fly off into the distance, and the surprise with the birthday cake full of 25's, priceless.
    Hugs, Teresa xxx
