VSC September Challenge # 15

Hello September

Can you believe that the summer is just about over and in New  York school starts in about a week.

Our lil one is going to BIG school ( Kindergarten HERE we come ) and I'm more nerves then she is. Therefore with back school being the big event in Septemer my design team project for V's Sweet Ideas Challenge will be centered around that.

Challenge details
Theme : Washi tape
Sponsor : My Creative Spot
Prize : A stamp set
Deadline: September 30th 2013

Now onto my project. I love washi tape and I'm sure there are tons of crafters who love to use and collect washi tape. I often like to come up with different ways to use my washi tape. Therefore I have used washi tape to alter some school supplies. I also created a tag. Then at the bottom of the post I have included some other back to school preparation photos.

Project details
Thick washi on the spine of the notebooks (gray chevron - Vs Sweetideas shop) , washi on the pencils & pencil case box ( neon pink strip - Vs Sweetideas ) , washi label inside of the soft pencil case and on the folder.

A washi tape TIP use glossy accents to make your washi tape design last longer. Especially when your using it on things beside paper.

Check out V's washi tape store. She has a ton of amazing different shapes and patterns.

I wanted to create a tag to be used in back to school pictures and for project life. The ruler washi is from Vs Sweetideas Shop. Finally used the Doc Mcstuffin fabric ribbon.

Uniforms are all folded and ready for the new school year. I have used a bin I got from the dollar store to keep her school tights and socks in one place.

The main supply is the bookbag. This book bag has a matching lunch bag (not in this picture). This bookbag is from the Disney Store and it has tons of pockets ( which I love).

Thanks for stopping by, check out the other DT projects and enter the challenge.
